HONORING AL KINGTON
A Legacy That Continues to Grow
Al Kington was a professional forester and lifetime member of the Montana Wood Products Association. He dedicated his career and life’s passion to promoting active forest management and preserving Montana’s wood products industry, principles that reflected his deep commitment to the forests, people, and communities he served.

To his friends and colleagues, Al was part of the fabric of Montana’s forestry community. His passing left a lasting absence, but his dedication continues to inspire the work of the MWPA Foundation.

Following his passing, MWPA established scholarships rooted in the values that guided his life. These scholarships support students pursuing a future in forest management, helping a new generation carry forward the work he cared about so deeply.

A gift in Al’s memory, or in honor of someone meaningful to you, helps keep that legacy growing.
